Compression Molding
The act of compression molding is applying pressure
to resins to fill out a mold. Compression molding can produce parts from simple, flat panels to highly complex three-dimensional designs quickly and accurately using inexpensive tooling at lower pressures. Because of the force of the machine, virtually any project can be perfectly formed and replicated very quickly.
CTC Plastics has developed a patented long-fiber reinforced thermoplastic process. This method includes glass that can grant greater stiffness without brittleness and reinforce the plastic without a cost penalty or purchase minimum. Our patented extruder and screw technology allows for longer glass realized. These parts surpass other composites in deep ribs, bosses, standoffs and deep draws. These parts are thus stiff, strong and lightweight at a low fee.
Eight compression molding cells can be customized to your needs.
